Indiana Jones still life to show off my new (Magnoli HJ!!) fedora, because it rained today and I couldn't take any pics. Lots of detail stuff:

--the ring by darthinvictus! <3
--wheat pennies, none from after 1956 (I think '37, a few from '44, a few from '56)
--the books I got for FREE from my college in Hawaii: the books in this photo go from the 1830's all the way up to the 1940's.
--one book I find very entertaining; "Christ in the Ancient World" and the binding simply names the author as "Glover"
--map from the thing that started it all for me: Adventure from the Center of Science and Industry in Columbus
--I didn't have enough maps, soooo ignore all the Williamsburg stuff as just decoration.
--the "emerald" that I found at a pool pretty early on in my Indy obsession
--the Warsaw mermaid, which I've had as long as I can remember
--quetzalcoatl sculpture, which was my final piece for ceramics (and yeah, I haven't posted any pics of it alone yet)
--you can't really see it, but behind the plaque is some pirate treasure and a Japanse (but almost Mayan-looking) jade donut
--the plane picture (with a plane from 1929) I actually found cleaning out that desk.
--the desk is a family heirloom I've had as long as I can remember... and it has secret compartments.
--the Boy Scout stationery was in the desk, I'm guessing it was my dad's. I figured it was appropriate even if it's not "period"

Hope you enjoy it! E];D

Oh, nice fedora... just about spot on; needs just a bit of distressing, though ;P

Great composition; I love how you've listed everything in the description, too.

Thanks! Distressing I figure will come lightly with time... but otherwise it's one of the best-done hats in the business, the guy who did it really does make it spot-on.

And thanks! I wasn't sure the composition was going to work out, but I managed to pull enough stuff together.

*nod* agreed. You did well pulling it all together! :)

Looks great! I love the character the books add to it.

Thanks! =) I'm a book nut so I couldn't not include them.
